My Cats Sleeping Next to Me

So the cats go in phases where they have to sleep as close to me as possible. And not like on my legs or next to my hip, they have to sleep on my pillow with me. A collage:

Dewey loves to sleep in my palm and stretch his paws over me, different night - same behavior. If you look closely in the corner you can see Stinker.

Stinker likes to sleep on my pillow too when Dewey isn't there. As you can see, I get pushed off my pillow.

Or I can split the pillow w/ Stinker and wear her like a hat.

Fleas

So the babies have fleas. Poor kids had to get a bath, the first one in their lives. Once they got over the shock/fear of water it actually seemed like they enjoyed being in the tub and having us rub them with soothing shampoo. Then the fleas ran for the hills (read their faces) as we were drying them off cause it was the only dry part. We must have picked off over a dozen fleas between the 3 cats. The pic of Stinker didn't turn out, so we only have a wet Boo and Dewey.

We took them to the vet and got treatment for 6 months, so this is an ongoing thing, though we wont have to bathe them again. We've treated our house and done a ton of laundry. Every time I itch, I swear it's a flea. :-/

Any Given Night

Any given night this is what my bed looks like. Now add to this a 6'3" Dane and me. The cats sleep on my side/pillow, so you can imagine how I have to contort myself to sleep in that mix. Silly babies. I love them!

Mr. Man

But not the Mr. Man you are all used to. This is Dane's boss's cat, Mr. Man. And quite possible the fattest cat in the world. Hence why he's earned a guest spot on the Dewey-Boo-Stinker blog.

Stinker

Not to leave Stinker out, she deserves mad credit. She's such a cute cat. By far the bitchiest and the happiest cat I've ever met in one animal. She's doing this new thing where if you scratch her spine she will lick the air and if you put your hand to her mouth, she'll lick you. Then if you hit the "turbo" spot, as we call it, she will nub your hand with her teeth, but not bite. Weirdest thing ever. What a cutie.
